Pustevny
 A 2 seater chair lift which will take you up to Pustevny is located only 500m from the Hotel. Once here you will have the option of following many tourist routes and visiting the nearby statue of Radegast, the pagan god of hospitality, and the Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius.
  
Štramberk
Stramberk, listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO due to its rich history includes the ruins of the Castle Strallenberg, famous for its cylindrical tower called Truba. Close to the town is the reknowned cave Jeskyně Šipka, where the remains of a Neanderthal child were found.
Skanzen in Rožnov p.R.
A unique view into the traditional ways of life in Wallachia is available at the Wallachian Nature Museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.

Automobile enthusiasts will be interested in the permanent exhibition held at the Tartra Technical Museum
Hukvaldy
Birthplace of the world famous composer Leos Janacek, Hukvaldy also offers a glimps into medieval times  through the ruins of Hukvaldy Castle. As a memorial to Leos Janacek there is an anual music festival held every year in May.
Travertinová kaskáda v Tiché
Natural monument Travertine cascade is an interesting natural phenomenon formed by water flowing from springs rich in calcium carbonate. 
 
  
Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem
One of the important monuments in the village is the church of St Magdalene from early 19th century, built in the place of an old wooden shrine. In 1931 the wooden Church of St. Procope and St. Barbara from the late 17th century (note to self: makes no sense). The church was transported to the village from Sub-Carpathian Ukraine.
